Do you want to know how to use an ESG device in Demonologist? Taking on the role of a ghost hunter, you can not do without high-tech gadgets. Ghosts are invisible to your eye, they can create paranormal phenomena throughout the house, and it is hard to know which room they are in. In addition, as in the similar Phasmophobia, you can find different types of ghosts in Demonologist, and you must appropriately strategize. One of the essential devices for identifying ghosts in Demonologist is the ESG device, and today we will tell you how to use it.

As we said, the ESG device is a device for detecting ghosts and determining their type. But the operating principle of this device is rather unusual. Since you are not just looking for ghosts in every room, you are increasing the activity of paranormal events. In a sense, this device amplifies the ghost’s ability and lures it to this place.

It sounds a little crazy, but thanks to this, the ESG device can analyze the ghost type and show you this information on the gadgets. But be careful and keep your eyes on the device. After all, a hint can flash on the ESG device for just a couple of moments, and you will not get a result if you get distracted. Also, watch out for white steam from your mouth. If the room is cold, you should be especially careful.

How to Use ESG Device in Demonologist

To use the ESG device in Demonologist, you must install this device on the floor anywhere in the house. And once you do, don’t take your eyes off the device. We advise you to choose those rooms where you noticed the highest paranormal activity. It will give you the most accurate and fastest results, but be careful. After all, your character quickly loses Sanity by increasing the ghostly activity.

How to Save Sanity

Since an increase in paranormal activity significantly affects your Sanity, take care of the safety of this indicator in advance. The easiest way is to equip a candle or have a friend next to you with a flashlight. Bright light gives you a false yet warm sense of calmness. So as long as it’s relatively light around you, you don’t have much to worry about. But if your Sanity has gone too low, we advise you to have Sanity Pills in your inventory.

Demonologist is available on PC.
