This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

With the arrival of the 2023 Halloween Update to Rust, Frankenstein and his table are back. And thanks to this update, you can create a Frankenstein pet using the Frankenstein Table item. This pet will help you defeat your enemies and protect you. Apart from that, you can also use Frankenstein as an alarm system. Or you can put him as a guard in your compound and have him kill the players who steal your resources from your Large Furnaces. Or just scare them with your spooky Dracula Mask.

How To Create Frankenstein in Rust

There are 3 parts you need to create Frankenstein in Rust. These are the Head, Torso, and Legs. Apart from that, you also need the Frankenstein Table item to combine these parts. You can craft this item for 200 Metal Fragments at Workbench Level 1 in Rust. There are also 3 different types of Frankenstein that you can create. Heavy Frankenstein, Medium Frankenstein, and Light Frankenstein.

The Heavy Frankenstein has a lot of health and is hard to kill, but the Light Frankenstein has a lot of movement speed and can easily catch its enemies. You can also combine the different Frankenstein pieces you find with each other. So if you have a Medium Head, Light Torso, and Heavy Legs, you can combine them in a Frankenstein Table without any problem in Rust.

Where To Find Frankenstein Parts

Scarecrow and Mummy NPCs will roam the game during the Rust 2023 Halloween Update. You can find these NPCs anywhere on the map or by entering the caves through the Blue Portals, which are also Halloween events.

When you kill them, you can find Frankenstein Parts in their loot bags, which you can then collect to create a new pet for yourself at the Frankenstein Table.

To summarize how to create Frankenstein:

  • First, kill a lot of Scarecrows and Mummies. This way, you will find Frankenstein Parts.
  • Once you have the parts you want, craft Workbench Level 1 by collecting 50 Scrap, 500 Wood, and 100 Metal Fragments.
  • Then, craft the Frankenstein Table for 200 Metal Fragments in Rust.
  • Then, place a Head, a Torso, and Legs in the appropriate sockets.
  • Then, hold down the “E” key on the Frankenstein Table and select the “Wake Frankenstein” option.
  • Then your pet will then stand up, and you do not need electricity to use the Frankenstein Table.

Frankenstein Pet Commands

The Frankenstein pet has 7 different commands, and you can use the “P” key to command your pet after Frankenstein gets up from the table in Rust.

Here are all the commands you can give Frankenstein in Rust:

Destroy: This command destroys your pet directly.

Combat: It will attack anything that attacks you and will also attack anything you attack.

Guard: This command makes it attack anything that attacks you.

Follow: It will follow you.

Assist: It attacks the things you attack.

Move: It moves towards where you are aiming.

Idle: It will stand still.
