What Howie Mandel Said About His Interview With Tom Sandoval
Andy Cohen called Howie Mandel out on his Watch What Happens Live Show. He said that Mandel did not try to find out about the ongoing drama on Vanderpump Rules before his interview with Tom Sandoval. Mandel has reacted to what Cohen said about the episode he had with the reality star on his podcast.
During an interview with Extra, Mandel said that he does not watch Vanderpump Rules. The American TV personality revealed that he first met Sandoval at a wedding and later discovered he was involved in a scandal. He added that he did not need to get any information or do any research about the drama.
This is because he would not challenge Sandoval on anything based on the information he found. He wanted Sandoval to tell his story. Mandel felt it was not his place to judge or start arguing with him. The TV star relayed that it was a podcast and he could invite anyone, and if they had a different story to tell, that made it more delightful.
The TV host said the whole thing seemed funny to him because many said he didn’t even know the names of the Vanderpump Rules star. The AGT judge related that netizens drilled him because of that.
Mandel Shared That He Felt Pity For Sandoval
The 67-year-old disclosed that during his time with Sandoval on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast, the latter looked frustrated such that he felt pity for him. Mandel added that Sandoval was a human being with emotions, and going through this scandal was not easy for him.
Per JustJared, the Canadian comedian stated that Sandoval was going through a hard time, and although he might deserve to go through that punishment, he does regret his actions. He revealed that Sandoval feels awful for cheating with Raquel Leviss on Ariana Madix.
Finally, Mandel shared that he was not trying to take sides with anyone or aiming to judge anyone. He was only trying to do a podcast, and that’s all.
