Sutton Foster is out here fueling the burning flame of romance rumors with Hugh Jackman. The actress gives another clue to the puzzle as she moves to dissolve her 10-year-old union legally. The Broadway co-stars set the rumor mills off after they starred in “The Music Man” together.
Foster handed in the papers for an uncontested divorce in New York County Supreme Court on Tuesday. Foster and her estranged beau, Ted Griffin, married in 2014 at a Santa Barbara, California private ceremony. The former couple share one child via adoption and have had marital problems since Foster and Jackman’s Broadway show.
As for the rumored lovebirds, a source noted that they are very much in love, adding, “They are 100 percent together and are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together.” They have reportedly been keeping things under wraps to avoid bringing unnecessary attention to the relationship, per Page Six.
Jackman filed for divorce from wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, after 27 years of marriage and two children in September 2023. The estranged pair announced their decision in a joint statement which read:
“We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting, and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”
It wasn’t long after that the rumors of Jackman and his co-star getting together began to spread.

The divorce was new terrain for Furness as she admitted that adjusting to the changes has been daunting. We gathered that she opened up about single life in a red-carpet interview back in January. While Furness confessed that the experience has been frightening and exciting, she embraced her new life. The 68-year-old said:
“It is kind of exciting. You know what, change, transition, evolution is a little frightening and we are all a bit scared of it, but I think it is probably our greatest gift.”
The former couple met for the first time in 1995 on the set of Correlli, an Australian television show. A relationship quickly began and the actor went down on one knee four months in. Furness and Jackman tied the knot less than a year after their first meeting in April 1996.
The estranged duo welcomed their son, Oscar, and adopted daughter, Ava, in 2005. Furness and Jackman stated it was an amicable decision despite the crushing news of the divorce. Will Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster finally go public now that her divorce case is on?
