Sometimes, all it takes is a random 1am call from the neighbors for a quiet night to take an unexpected turn. One Illinois woman captured exactly that on her Ring camera when her neighbors randomly dropped by late at night, bringing plenty of laughter, a tumble into the bushes, and a rather unusual explanation involving Coca-Cola.
The video comes from Illinois-based TikToker @alyssaromano28 — aka Alyssa Romano — who recently shared the hilarious late-night moment captured by her Ring camera. In the footage, two neighbors can be seen calling the doorbell of Alyssa at around 1am in the morning. The two women appear to have had a few drinks as they stagger to and fro, with their speech becoming increasingly difficult to make out. “This is what you get. Open Coca-Cola,” one of the women says as she presses the doorbell for a second time.
The other woman then says, “Oh no, they’re not gonna answer us,” and it looks like the pair are about to walk away. Suddenly, however, one of the women tumbles directly into the bushes in front of the porch. The pair immediately start giggling, with her friend coming over to help her back to her feet. Still on the ground, the woman offers a rather unusual explanation for her fall: “I just tripped over the Coca-Cola.”
Thankfully, the woman appeared to be just fine after her unexpected trip into the bushes and didn’t seem to be hurt.
TikTok Can’t Get Over the Coca-Cola
TikTok viewers couldn’t get enough of the late-night chaos, particularly the mysterious Coca-Cola at the center of it all. One person joked, “😭😭 i’m crying they wanted that coca-cola,” while another suggested a solution for the pair the following morning: “They need some Coca Cola to wake up 😂.”
Others were more entertained by just how long the woman managed to stay on her feet before finally taking a tumble. “Out of the 27 times i thought she would fall, she fell when i thought she’d finally be safe😭,” one viewer wrote. Another couldn’t help but admire the whole encounter, commenting, “Life goals for when I get old 🤣 I’m almost there.”
Perhaps the funniest part for some viewers was knowing Alyssa was apparently watching everything unfold through the Ring camera without saying a word. “The fact it was answered & you’re just watching silently 😭,” one person joked.
