Even if things have been quieter for now, it seems that ICE is still out there, ready to cause some commotion, and the most recent one occurred in Ogden, Utah. Today, a Reddit user captured a video showcasing a large ICE operation in broad daylight. However, several other people noticed just how wild the whole situation was, as the video captures ICE operation after detaining someone, the high gas prices, and even a flock camera, which made the scenario look even more bleak and heartbreaking, according to Utah residents.
The video was shared by user Kooky-Pepper2175 on the Utah subreddit. While the clip is short, it showcases some ICE agents detaining someone. Right now, there is no information about the one they arrested or if there were other people who were also detained before or after the clip was recorded. Still, several were shocked to see yet another large operation from ICE in the middle of the street.
While this was the main thing that caught the attention of many, other Redditors noticed that the whole scene was pretty bleak and showcased some of the things that have been affecting Americans lately, not only those in Utah.
If you look closely at the footage, you can see the price of gas, which is at $4 right now, and it also seems that there is a flock camera in the street, which has been another controversial topic. Then, if you add ICE to the mix, as many Redditors put it, it’s just a strange situation and a bit shocking to say the least.
Utah Citizens Claim The Whole Scene Looked Heartbreaking
Those who saw the video of Utah quickly shared their thoughts, noting that the whole scene was pretty depressing, especially given the elements in the background of the ICE operation.
“ICE abduction, 4-dollar gas, and a flock camera all in one shot. Jesus.”
“This is what evil looks like.”
While on the topic of all the background elements, many believe that ICE used the flock camera to identify the person they arrested.
“And right on cue, there is a Flock camera in frame. Non-Zero chance that helped them find whoever they were targeting, or at least give them the data on when to strike to find someone they could come up with an excuse to arrest.“
There is no confirmation that the flock camera helped at all, but people believe the government might be using these devices to track certain individuals down faster.
