An Ohio woman is drawing attention online after sharing a confrontation with Walmart workers over her unvested service dog. During the encounter, the creator is sitting on the floor because of a fainting disorder. However, workers repeatedly ask her to get up. The exchange left viewers furious, while others questioned why her service dog wasn’t wearing a vest in the first place.
Posted to TikTok by @pinkpoodleplanet, the video begins with a worker questioning why the creator is sitting on the floor. “Because I have a fainting disorder,” the user explains.
Still, the worker tells her to get off the floor and suggests she use a scooter instead. Another employee then brings the conversation back to the dog, suggesting the creator retrieve its vest from her car. The creator pushes back, saying she isn’t legally required to have a vest. Meanwhile, the first worker says her concern is getting the woman off the floor.
Eventually, someone suggests finding her a chair. However, when another worker asks if she can get up before the chair arrives, the Ohio woman says she cannot move until she has somewhere safe to sit.

The way workers handled the situation left plenty of commenters angry. Some called for consequences ranging from termination to lawsuits. “Please tell me all those employees got fired,” one user wrote. Others focused on the repeated requests for the Ohio creator to stand after she explained why she was sitting. “Asking someone who is actively fainting to get off the floor is wild,” one person commented.
The laughter heard during the encounter also struck a nerve. “The fact that they’re also laughing the whole time is disgusting,” another wrote. People familiar with POTS also weighed in on why sitting on the floor could be necessary. “For pots floor is so much safer than even a chair….” one commenter explained.
However, not everyone sided with the creator. Some believed service dogs are required to wear vests. Therefore, they questioned calls for legal action over that part of the encounter. “you supposed to have the vest on the dog at all times. so stop saying a lawsuit,” one person wrote.
Another took that argument further, suggesting the creator avoid stores altogether. “If she has a fainting disorder, she don’t belong in stores it’s best she order online,” they commented.
