Iceberg Interactive is a publisher known for releasing a ton of high-quality indie games to the public. Some you may know to include the upcoming The Sojourn and the Lovecraftian horror game Conarium. If you want to see their full lineup of games, you can find that on their official site. Today, the team has more to share regarding six of their upcoming games, and it should get players excited. The team announced the news on their various social media, with some of what was announced going out now.
First up is Iceberg Interactive’s upcoming 4X strategy game Pax Nova, which now has a release date. The game will release on April 28th to Steam following the current Early Access period. Players of the game during the Early Access period should be excited, as there’s likely an update coming with the full release. Pax Nova has you take on the role of one of three factions, deciding their fate through your turn-based actions. Explore various worlds and systems as you work towards the end goal of being the dominant faction.
Next is news regarding Star Dynasties, which got some new gameplay reveals featured in a developer interview. Star Dynasties brings you into a divided galaxy, split following the destruction of Earth. Star Dynasties will bring players on a journey of strategy and management to organize your people, and every choice matters in the story. The game looks to take a more focused look on sci-fi strategy in contrast with Pax Nova and will be fun for those looking for less strategy and more narrative. The Dev Diary above should give you a better look at the game, along with let you get a better idea of those working on the game.
You’ll get to know even more regarding the developers of this game and others under Iceberg Interactive at LudoNarraCon this weekend! LudoNarraCon is a digital convention (convenient considering current events) celebrating narrative video games and their developers. You can expect to see many developers, including some from games like In Other Waters, Still There, Star Dynamics, and more! It’s something worth tuning into, as it’ll provide a lot of insight and interesting information. LudoNarraCon goes from April 24th to April 27th.
Speaking of Still There, they’re featured in many parts of the convention. They’ll have a demo of the game to show off, and you can buy the game at a discount to celebrate the event. Still There is a psychological adventure about grief, having you take on puzzles and challenges surrounding that concept. Having gotten a 93% approval rating, fans of the genre won’t want to miss this.
Antigraviator is a new anti-gravity racing game that seeks to shake up the genre. The game has been on PC and PS4 for quite some time now, but the team behind the game is looking to expand. Iceberg Interactive says that the game will be coming to Xbox One on May 1st, offering players on that console a chance to jump into the action. With a single-player campaign and online multiplayer (with split-screen), this is a title racing game players should keep their eye on. If you try it out, let us know what you think of it.
And last but certainly not least is news regarding Radical Relocation. For those that don’t know it, it’s an upcoming physics game that looks to mess up your neighborhood. Traverse an obstacle course with precision while carrying your possessions on your car in this wacky game coming to PC. You can wishlist on Steam, but the team has a demo available to try on itch.io and GameJolt starting today. Be sure to hop in there and get in on the wacky and fun physics!
And that’s everything new from Iceberg Interactive this time around. This may not be anything new, but their game Circle Empires Rivals also released last week.
