Summertime is the period for festivals, gaming ones to be precise, and coming up this month is the ID@Xbox Summer Game Fest Demo Event, which is looking to feature a baking hot line-up of demos that are just wanting to be played.
This ID@Xbox Summer Game Fest Demo Event will be the third one in conjunction with the recent Summer Game Festival, hosted by the one and only Geoff Keighley. The event will run from June 21st until June 27th, and it will feature over 30 demos that you can all play for the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One – you really are going to be spoilt for choice.
Before we go into details about some of the games that will be featured at this year’s ID@Xbox Summer Game Fest Demo Event, you might want to note a few important things down:
- The demos will be on the Xbox Dashboard for a week, so you’ll have to catch them quickly before they disappear entirely.
- The developers of these selected games are desperate for your feedback, so contact them via social media or their websites regarding your thoughts.
- The idea of this festival is that people can play these game demos before they have been fully completed, almost like a “show floor demo.” The reason is that the developers value feedback, so they can – if they need to – go back to the drawing board before the release of the games.
What Are Some of the Titles at This Year’s ID@Xbox Summer Game Fest Demo Event?
Now that we’ve covered that, check out some of the games that are set to appear at this year’s ID@Xbox Summer Game Fest Demo Event – we will only mention a few because we will be releasing a complete list closer to the event itself.
Broken Pieces
This is a psychological thriller situated in a French coastal village, but here’s the weird part, somehow, this sleepy village has found itself outside the flow of time, with an emphasis on solving mysteries that help piece together the story surrounding this incredibly eerie village.
Batora: Lost Haven
In Batora: Lost Haven, players take control of a reckless with powers that even she doesn’t know how to control. Harnessing these powers is the only way to save the Earth from catastrophe. Explore the vibrant planets surrounding you in this electrifying adventure where your conscience will determine what happens on your journey.
Severed Steel
This stylish single-player FPS features a fluid stunt system, destructible voxel environments, a bucket full of bullet time, a likable protagonist with one arm, and an eerie but atmospheric electronic soundtrack.
Tinykin
In Tinykin, players must catch hundreds of tiny creatures called Tinykin and harness their unique powers to bring Milo back to his home planet and hopefully back to his normal size too.
As we mentioned, these are just a handful of games you will find at this year’s ID@Xbox Summer Game Fest Demo Event; there will be over 30 available for you to experience. Make sure you check the festival out from the 21st until the 27th of June; it’s one not to miss.
