When you are in a relationship, you would expect your partner to support you no matter what. You would also expect them to care for you and make you their priority. Well, it turns out that there are a lot of men out there who don’t do that. A recent example took place when a Florida woman who was running a marathon gave her boyfriend the snacks she needed. Even if you know nothing about marathons, it’s common knowledge that runners need snacks to serve as fuel for them during it. It’s even essential. So the boyfriend’s only job was to keep the snacks with him until his girlfriend needed them. He didn’t do that. What he did do instead was that he ate all of them. He ate them while his girlfriend was out there doing her best in a marathon she had trained for.
In a video shared by the Florida girlfriend, you can see her running in the marathon and her boyfriend is the one filming. When she asked him for her snacks, he replied and said, “I don’t have any.” He ate all of them. She wrote in the caption, “Thank god for aid stations.” So instead of supporting her, the boyfriend was just an obstacle. Unfortunately, a lot of women still support their partners even when they treat them terribly. This is why the Florida woman turned off her comments once she saw that people were coming after her boyfriend. I mean he did mess up.
Since people couldn’t leave their opinions under the video posted by the Florida woman, they made videos of their own. A lot of women posted videos attacking the runner’s boyfriend, which is valid. A woman who posted her own video stated that the guy sabotaged his girlfriend. She also stated that he doesn’t care about her since he ate the snacks that she absolutely needed. What makes it worse is that he is dating a runner so he must know how much runners need their snacks. He still chose to eat them. This isn’t how you should treat your partner.
People Reacting to What the Inconsiderate Florida Boyfriend Did
Almost everyone was upset on behalf of the Florida woman, so they had a lot to say. A lot of people agreed that the man doesn’t love his girlfriend as one woman wrote, “That man HATES her. The end.” What made his action even worse is the fact that several people said he was an athlete as well. “He’s a runner too, he knows what he did,” one person wrote. Another woman then said, “He’s also a runner. He knew better, and he chose to sabotage her.” Someone else said in frustration, “HE DOES IRONMANS ‼‼ HE DOES IRONMANS ‼‼ He knows exactly what he was doing ‼‼” This is just terrible. Since the comments were under a video made by another woman, people commented on the fact that she said “It’s not that deep” at one point. “It IS THAT DEEP. Some women are literally sleeping next to their biggest haters and they don’t even know it,” one woman wrote.
Since the Florida woman had her comments open for a while, some people said that she kept deleting any comments criticizing her boyfriend. “I commented ‘Does he now realize how selfish and inconsiderate that was?’ and she deleted it,” one person wrote. Another person also said, “Runner girl deleted my comment telling her she should break up with her bf. The ‘you don’t know him’ video is only moments away I fear.” They are probably right and she will stay with him despite what he did. Someone else commented that if the situation were reversed, the boyfriend wouldn’t have given his partner grace like she did. “The worst part is that if the tables were reversed, I’m sure he’d be FURIOUS and would never let her forget it,” they wrote. Well, she probably knows what is better for her.
