A man in Beech Grove, Indiana, was seen gathering his things shortly after allegedly crashing into a home. When the homeowner confronted him, the driver appeared annoyed and, instead of staying put, left the scene. According to him, he had a “doctor’s appointment” to attend.
TikTok user catfishbilly5150 (Billy) shared multiple points of view showing what immediately followed the crash. He often shares a variety of content online, with the Beech Grove incident quickly becoming one of his most-viewed videos to date. The one attached above garnered 636,400 views, 48,500 likes, and more than 3,700 comments in a day.
The Indiana man recording the immediate fallout caught the alleged driver pulling items from the crashed vehicle. The damage was extensive. The van had gone through part of the home’s exterior wall, leaving bricks scattered across its hood. Meanwhile, the man appeared more focused on gathering his belongings from inside the vehicle.
Another man with a cellphone, who also shared his POV on TikTok and was the homeowner, began confronting the unnamed individual. First, however, the alleged driver, who could be seen stuffing what appeared to be a metal money box inside a backpack, asked, “Hi. Can I help you?“
The homeowner responded, “Yes! My [expletive] house, [expletive].” The alleged driver said he “didn’t mean” to crash into the home and claimed the gas pedal had “locked up” on him. Additional footage has since surfaced showing the van before it crashed into the house. However, no official word has been given on what actually caused the crash.
Then, after grabbing all of his things, he left the scene, saying, “I gotta go to a doctor’s appointment.”
Despite other bystanders telling him not to leave, the man insisted, saying he had “[expletive] to do.”
Indiana Driver’s Doctor’s Appointment Excuse Stuns Viewers
The video sparked plenty of speculation about the driver’s behavior. One viewer asked, “Did he just load a cash box into a backpack out of a stolen car?”
The footage does appear to show the man putting a metal box into his backpack. However, nothing has confirmed that the van was stolen or revealed what was actually inside the box.
Others continued to react to the situation’s absurdity. One commented, “Did he just call in sick to his own car wreck?” Another one added, “Jesse Pinkman in real life.”
The videos have continued to circulate online, with additional footage showing more of what happened before and after the crash. However, no reliable update has confirmed whether the driver was arrested or cited.
His claim that the gas pedal “locked up” also remains unverified. Either way, the bizarre scene left viewers with plenty to talk about. After allegedly crashing a van into someone’s home, the man still seemed to have one thing on his mind: making it to that doctor’s appointment.
