I can’t find any explanation for why some women decide to defend their husbands even when they treat them terribly. This is what a Texas wife did after the internet came after her infuriating husband because he packed her dog food as lunch. It all started when the wife posted a video of her opening the lunch her husband brought her because she forgot about it. The entire lunch is terrible but the last thing he packed is definitely what caused outrage. He packed for her a bag of cookies, an open bag of pretzels that is almost empty, an apple (that one is okay), and Pringles. He also brought her another bag of cookies, which was open, and her two-day-old Chipotle. Now, guess what was the last item? Dog food.
For some reason, the Texas husband found it funny to pack dog food for his wife while she was at work. He put dog food in a ziplock with a note saying, “Because you are my dog.” There was also another note saying, “Please bring back. The dogs are low on food.” The husband isn’t the only infuriating one because the wife is the same. She found this treatment funny. Of course, a husband bringing his wife animal food caused outrage on the internet as a lot of people made videos trying to defend the woman. So people cared about you and how you are being treated only for you to defend your husband.
Once the Texas woman stood by her husband, people started criticizing her as well. After turning off the comments on the original video, she posted an explanation video. Let’s just say that leaving the comments on in this video wasn’t a wise choice. In the video, she justified her husband calling her a dog and said that he wrote it as “dawg.” Apparently, they call each other dawg. According to her, this was just a joke that her husband came up with along with her sister.
The wife then explained the two-day-old Chipotle and said that she had made a mistake, and it was from the night before. “He doesn’t hate me guys,” she says. Well, if you believe that, then who could stop you? The wife also claimed that she told him to pack her, “Chipotle, leftovers, and snacks.” Yeah, that definitely sounds like the kind of lunch a woman would want. She also made a video of herself and her husband dancing together to show that she is unbothered. I guess to each their own.
People Reacting to the Texas Couple
Since over 30 million people saw the video, people had a lot to say and most of it was hate. I mean they only wanted to defend the Texas woman before they realized that she actually found the dog food “a sweet surprise.” So the comments weren’t on her side anymore. This made one person write, “I don’t understand why people are hating on her. She already has the biggest hater at home.” One woman also said, “we don’t hate you girl we’re sad for you.” Another woman then said, “I’m happy that you’re happy with your standards!” Another person also came after the fact that the two had kids. “And you gave this man children,” they said. This made someone reply, “I’m grateful she’s keeping him out of the dating pool away from anyone else.”
The hate toward the Texas couple definitely didn’t stop there. “Girl we dont care if you eat the dog food, its your marriage, we are all just thankful its not us,” one person wrote. Another person questioned the whole joke thing as they asked, “If it’s a ‘joke’, where is the real lunch????” That’s a valid question. There was also one woman who asked, “Girl…. Are you convincing us or yourself …?” Probably herself. At least there was someone who defended the couple by saying, “People are way too sensitive these days… I would have thought this was hilarious… People in these comments worry me, truly.” I guess if she is happy with being treated like this then people should let her be.
