Helldivers 2 is, thankfully, available on multiple platforms, so naturally, Cross Save and Cross Play would be great things to have around, too. Not only would you be able to switch between platforms for some serious convenience, but you’d also be able to play with your friends even if they aren’t on the same console. Not to mention, if you switch up your platform eventually, it’d be great to be able to keep all of your saved data and pick right up where you left off again. But does Helldiver 2 have Cross Save and Cross Play? Let’s find out.
Does Helldiver 2 Have Cross Play and Cross Save?

Whenever a game releases on multiple consoles nowadays, it’s a given that they will have Cross Play. However, that isn’t always the case. Luckily for us, Helldivers 2 does have crossplay between PC and PS5 platforms. That said, if you have friends you’d like to play with who aren’t on the same platform, that’s not a problem. You can still play with them regardless of the platform difference. If you are on PC, you can play with PS5 players, and the same works the other way around. You can find your Friend Code to add friends from other platforms in the Social menu.
While it’s great that we have Cross Play between consoles for Helldivers 2, we can’t be so excited about Cross Save. At the time of writing, Helldivers 2 doesn’t have Cross Save capabilities. If you end up switching platforms, you won’t be able to take your saved data along with you, and you’ll need to start over. However, given that the game is still a rather new release, Cross Save will be added to the game in a future update.
