It has been a long time coming, but Madden 24 is finally set to release on August 18th. Early access began on August 15th, meaning those who were lucky enough to pre-order the deluxe edition will already be able to dive in! However, some fans are holding off on purchasing the game, wondering if it is available on Game Pass. The answer to that question and more can be found below.
Is Madden 24 on Xbox Game Pass?
Currently, Madden 24 is not on Game Pass, and there are no publicly announced plans to add it anytime soon. This may come as a disappointment to many fans of the franchise, but don’t lose hope just yet!
Madden 23 was added to the service just a few days before the February 2023 Super Bowl, so there is a good chance of that happening next year as well. The huge surge of public interest in football during the Super Bowl means it would be in Microsoft’s best interest. If Xbox were to continue the trend, fans can expect Madden 24 to arrive on Game Pass in February 2024.
Play a Trial Through Game Pass Ultimate
Despite this somewhat discouraging news, there is a silver lining to it all. Those who are subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate or EA Play will be treated to a trial of Madden 24. The trial lasts for 10 hours and includes the entire game, so fans can get a good idea of what the game is like!
After the trial is over, you can purchase the game to continue where you left off. All saves carry over as well, so there is no risk of losing all of your hard work! More details regarding the 10-hour trial can be found here.
