When it was reported in late August that Lana Del Rey was dating boyfriend Jeremy Dufrene, fans were quick to share their judgment and disapproval. But just one month later, no one expected the pair to actually get married!
Fans of the singer know that she has a thing for older men, but what makes Dufrene so special? Well, fans are still trying to work out this. Could it be that he is not famous and, therefore, not tainted by the world of stardom? Could it be that he has a pretty cool job, working at Airboat Tours by Arthur in Louisiana, or is it simply that he treats her the way she wants and makes her feel special?
Of course, we do not have the answers to these questions, but we do know that TMZ reported just yesterday that the couple collected their marriage license at the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court. At the time, fans expressed their disappointment on X, noting how she hardly knew Dufrene (although they met for the first time back in 2019, and they have the Facebook photos to prove it).
And then came the move no one expected as photos emerged on X showing Del Rey walking down the aisle in a white gown.

The X account Creepy.org shared two pictures from the wedding day, along with the caption, “Lana Del Rey marries alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene in Louisiana.” To say fans are shocked would be an accurate assessment of the situation. Although some fans have congratulated the couple and wished them a lifetime of happiness, others are less eager to do so.
“Didn’t she meet this man yesterday?” a comment reads. “Is this an album drop or an actual wedding?,” another questioned. Other reactions include, “Didn’t she just divorce the other day? How fast do women get into new marriages? Damn,” “Oh my Lana del ray,” and “This looks like it came straight out of a movie.”
The news of their wedding is still early, so we can only imagine the comments that are yet to come. But if they are happy, who are we to judge, right?!
