After Tactics Ogre Reborn and Fire Emblem Engage, there hasn’t been a big tactical JRPG to fill that void. Or that was the case until Unicorn Overlord was announced. Made by the people behind 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, this new title promises to mix systems from many known games of the genre with its own touch. And thanks to the demo, we can say the game is on the right track. However, those tactical RPG fans have been wondering if Unicorn Overlord will find its way to PC via Steam when it launches.
Can You Play Unicorn Overlord on Steam?
Sadly, no. Unicorn Overlord isn’t on Steam, and there hasn’t been confirmation of it arriving on Valve’s platform. This might be a huge blow to people looking to play this upcoming installment on PC. Right now, there’s only been the announcement of the game reaching PS4, PS5,
While it might shock some, gamers shouldn’t be surprised. Previous installments from this company haven’t made it to PC. Also, let’s remember that the publisher is Atlus, and just recently, some of its biggest titles have made it to PC, so it might take a while for others to reach Steam.
With that in mind, you should consider getting the game if you have any of the abovementioned consoles. The game features some of the most in-depth combat in the genre, with open-world activities and a compelling story. Furthermore, it plays smoothly on any platform, so you can just pick the ones you like the most. Still, we hope one day, the developers consider moving Unicorn Overlord to PC and allow more players to experience this tactical adventure. With so many classes and tactical decisions to make, this is an entry people can’t miss, at least until we get any other big tactical RPG.
