Two months after the death of General Hospital star Jacklyn Zeman, her co-stars have gathered to celebrate her life with a memorial service. Zeman, who played Bobbie Spencer, passed away on May 10th, 2023 after a short battle with cancer. Her death was followed by an outpouring of heartfelt messages from her co-stars, who she had been acting alongside since joining the cast of General Hospital in 1977. Now, the cast of General Hospital has once again for a celebration of life memorial in Jacklyn Zeman’s honor.

The messages to come out of Jacklyn Zeman’s memorial service were numerous, as can be expected from the actors and actresses that joined Zeman for 880 episodes of ABC‘s most popular drama series. Among those attending the memorial service was Tristan Rogers, who has played Robert Scorpio since 1980. In a post on social media, Rogers called the memorial service a “marvelous ‘good bye'” and “a tremendous expression of the effect [Jacklyn] had on people’s lives.”

Another person toasting in honor of Jacklyn Zeman’s life is Kin Shriner, who played Zeman’s on-again, off-again love interest Scotty Baldwin. In his own social media post, Shriner said that the Malibu-based celebration of life was “a packed house” and called himself “so lucky to have been apart of her life.” Kimberly McCullough, who played Robin Scorpio in General Hospital – the daughter of Rogers’ character – posted a picture of a beautiful sunset on Instagram. In the caption, McCullough wrote: “Red sunset for Jackie Z. Went to the beautiful service today celebrating her life. What an angel. What a life. ❤️”

Heartfelt messages aren’t only reserved for those who starred alongside Jacklyn Zeman on General Hospital, however. Michele Val Jean, who wrote over 300 episodes of General Hospital between 1993 and 2012, shared her own tribute to Zeman. It states “We celebrated this beautiful soul today. Godspeed, my friend. I will carry you always.” Additionally, Gregori J. Martin, who served as executive producer and director for The Bay, where Zeman starred as Sofia Madison, called the memorial a “Beautiful celebration for an amazing woman” and said that Zeman was “forever in our hearts.”
