Jax Taylor and Tom Sandoval used to be best buds on Vanderpump Rules. However, things quickly turned sour when the two started developing massive egos. Eventually, Jax left the show, and Tom stayed, so the pair began drifting apart. But now that Jax is going through a divorce with Brittany Cartwright, that seems to have brought them back together.
On his podcast, When Reality Hits, Jax said that Sandoval has “reached out to me more than anybody” else. He continued, saying people would likely be surprised by the news; however, the two have been “hanging out” as of late.
“[He was] just checking on me,” Jax said. “I was shocked because I [hadn’t] heard from Tom in a long time, and now I probably talk to Tom three or four times a week.”
Will Jax and Tom Be Able To Move Past Their Previous Issues?
Although Jax and Tom experienced many highs on VPR, they went through just as many lows. Most recently, the two friends were at odds after Jax slammed Tom for his role in Scandoval. In case you forgot, Sandoval was public enemy number one after the world discovered his months-long affair with Raquel Leviss. “The whole world has talked sh*t about you,” Jax said during a heated conversation with Tom.
But despite his harsh comments, it would appear the two have turned a new page.
“I love Tom, and I will always love him no matter what he does,” Jax said on his podcast. “He’s my best friend, along with Tom Schwartz. They’re both my best friends. People make mistakes in life, but you gotta move on from it, and we all gotta forgive each other at some point.”
