Jennifer Lopez’s relationship woes with Ben Affleck seem to be piling up. The singer and the actor have reportedly split after just two years of marriage. However, they’ve yet to address the divorce rumors. Instead, sources have been dishing on their messy relationship. Recently, an insider claimed that JLo has been trying to gain Affleck’s attention. However, her plan is backfiring as the actor is getting the ick from her behavior.
In Touch Weekly reports that Jennifer Lopez has been setting up paparazzi photo opportunities, seeking attention with things such as her lavish Bridgerton-themed birthday party, and more. JLo allegedly hopes to catch Ben Affleck’s eye with her antics. However, an insider says that it’s having the opposite effect on her estranged husband.
Ben Affleck Isn’t Impressed with Jennifer Lopez’s Latest Attention-Grab
“Ben is well aware that JLo’s been staging photo ops all around the Hamptons to try and look like she hasn’t got a care in the world,” the informant dished. “But he knows otherwise, because when they talk she shows a much different side, so all this phoniness is just making him relieved he doesn’t have to live in her made-up world anymore.”
Meanwhile, as Lopez has been busy living it up in the Hamptons all summer, Affleck has stayed behind in Los Angeles. He’s been seen spending time with his kids and even riding his motorcycle. Despite JLo’s best efforts, it seems that the actor isn’t impressed by her attention-grab schemes.
“If she really wanted to impress him and win him back, she’d tone it way down and take some time out of the spotlight, but of course she’s doing the opposite, and he finds it totally cringey and contrived,” says in the insider. “It’s pretty sad because she’s clearly desperate to prove something, and it’s only proving to Ben that he made the right choice in pulling the plug.”
Neither Ben Affleck nor Jennifer Lopez have publicly commented on the divorce rumors. However, the haven’t been seen together in weeks. They also ignored their second wedding anniversary amid the split speculation.
It seems that it may only be a matter of time before Jennifer Lopez and/or Ben Affleck finally make an announcement about their relationship. Until then, the rumors will likely continue to fly.
