The premiere of the Jurassic World Dominion trailer suggests that the beloved Jurassic World movies are finally coming to an epic conclusion on June 10th. Not much has been revealed about the plot for Jurassic World Dominion; however, today’s jaw-dropping trailer gave us lots to look forward to, including the return of Sam Neill’s Alan Grant and Laura Dern’s Ellie Sattler, characters we haven’t seen in Jurassic movies since 2001’s Jurassic Park III (we all freaked out a little bit).
Fans of the Jurassic World movies will especially appreciate this iconic linkup between characters from the original trilogy and the new.
The Jurassic franchise has been captivating audiences since 1993, going on to win dozens of awards, shatter box office records, and top countless best film lists throughout its 27-year span of 6 films. Their epic sci-fi adventures wowed us with their realistic dinosaurs, angered us with their characters’ poor life choices, shocked us with gruesome character deaths, and scared us with their heart-stopping thrills that kept viewers on the edge of their seats and coming back for more some twenty years later. The Jurassic films taught us the beauty and consequences of what happens when man tampers with nature and finally answered the question: who would win a fight between a T-Rex and Indominus Rex? The film industry will be sad to see its departure.
Jurassic World Dominion stars Jurassic vets Laura Dern, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, BD Wong, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Chris Pratt. We’ll also see the return of recurring stars Omar Sy, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Isabella Sermon, and the introduction of Mamoudou Athie and Dichen Lachman. Jurassic World Dominion will premiere in theaters on June 10th, 2022, which will undoubtedly pack theaters this summer.
