Just what is the new Stars on Mars reality show? To be honest, sometimes covering reality TV is exhausting, simply because all the shows are generally the same. Strangers meet and date and hook up and break up. That’s the standard for nearly every reality show. But every now and again a new show comes out that is wholly unique. The Stars on Mars reality show sets out to do something very different from anything we’ve seen. The name of the show alone should let you know we are breaking into new territory here.
There are 12 celebrities (using that term very loosely here) and they have to try to colonize Mars. Of course, they won’t actually be on Mars. They will be on a set that replicates what life would be like on Mars. This is going to be a special kind of crazy.
Stars on Mars Sounds Insane!
The list of celebs on the show is as follows:
Lance Armstrong, Ariel Winter, Porsha Williams Guobadia, Adam Rippon, Christopher Minzt-Plassa, Marshawn Lynch, Natasha Leggero, Richard Sherman, Ronda Rousey, Tallulah Willis, Tinashe, and Tom Schwartz. The whole thing is being hosted by William Shatner, which is a smart call.
Granted, you are most likely only familiar with a few of those names. But still, the idea that those twelve people fighting to see who can colonize fake Mars first is actual fire. How does that NOT sound amazing? Fox will be hosting the show, and the hype for it is already off the charts. One of the celebs will be voted as captain each week. Each team will be given tasks and whoever finishes them first wins. Whoever is worst gets sent back to “Earth.”
