Justin Bieber is hounded by paparazzi and fans, and most people, given the circumstances, would likely react in a very similar way to how the musician did when he was approached by eight teens while at West Hollywood’s Waldorf Astoria. So, how did he react, you ask? Video footage from inside the hotel lobby shows Bieber shouting at the fans to get away.
Bieber was being filmed by the teens, and it really riled him up. “Is this funny to you guys? This is funny to you guys?” he asks in the video, which was shared on TikTok by user Brennanshtorch. He captioned the video with a short message, writing, “Justin got so mad.” Bieber can also be heard telling the teens to “get out of here.” But there is much more to this story than Bieber just having a bad day.
Why Was Justin Bieber Shouting at Teens?
Sources close to the situation told TMZ that Justin Bieber was concerned because his very pregnant wife, Hailey Bieber, was meeting him at the hotel for lunch. The publication reports that “8 teens — who were at the hotel for a bar mitzvah — started following him around and yelling at him.” Before the footage was filmed, he is reported to have asked the teenagers nicely to leave him alone, which they did not.
Things then escalated because he did not have his full security team and did not enjoy being filmed, which is completely understandable. “We’re told he was just worried about his wife’s safety,” TMZ reports.
The footage of Justin Bieber appearing to be in a bad mood and losing his cool paints a picture of the celebrity having an awful day, but when everything is put in context, you can absolutely understand why he would be concerned for his own safety, and that of his wife and unborn child (whose due date is just around the corner). It is also a valuable lesson on how we cannot believe everything we see online without questioning it first.
