Over the past year, the singer has mostly stayed out of the spotlight as rumors began to fly that he may have been connected to Diddy’s alleged sexual misconduct. Many fans believe that Bieber may have been victimized by Diddy when he was a child. For now, the former teen heartthrob is refusing to open up about the speculation. However, Bieber did recently share a cryptic post on social media that had fans talking.
According to The Daily Mail, Justin Bieber doesn’t have any qualms about his religious beliefs. He’s often been seen heading to church with and without his wife, Hailey Bieber. The duo, who welcomed their first child, son Jack Blues, earlier this year, haven’t shied away from sharing their love for religion. This week, Justin seemingly hinted that his faith may be a little unsteady.
In a meme-like post shared to his Instagram story, the singer asked, “How can I really believe Jesus is with me?” However, the post went on to reveal that Bieber was reaffirming his faith, even during some times that have allegedly been difficult for him and his family.
“Every time I thought he wouldn’t show up for me he always has. I’m convinced he’s the perfect patient presence that guides, directs and leads me all the days of my life providing, healing, restoring all that the enemy tried to destroy and steal,” the post continued.
Justin Bieber Opens Up About His Faith Amid Diddy Drama
It has certainly been a year of ups and downs for Justin and Hailey Bieber. The couple welcomed their son in August. However, just one month later, Diddy was arrested on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and more. The disgraced rapper is currently behind bars as he prepares for his 2025 trial.
After Diddy’s arrest, old footage and rumors about Justin’s connection to the jailed rapper began to resurface. A video of Diddy revealing that a then-15-year-old Bieber would be spending 48 hours with him raised eyebrows. Another video of Diddy seemingly checking the singer for a wire also blew up online.
“He looks damaged,” one person commented.
“The dark always comes to the light,” another said.
“Seems to be a sweet and good-natured young man. Let’s all wish him well,” one person suggested.
“He looks haunted,” a fourth comment read.
Bieber’s Dark Past Revealed
While Bieber has never specifically spoken about incidents with Diddy, he has been open about the problems he faced in his younger years. The singer admitted that by the time he was 19, he was using heavy drugs and abusing his relationships.
Justin confessed to being in a dark place and even becoming “disrespectful” toward women. However, after cleaning up his act, Bieber leaned into religion. In 2020, he opened up about his relationship with a higher power, per Premier Christian News.
“Now the way I look at my relationship with God and with Jesus is, I’m not trying to earn God’s love by doing good things. God has already loved me for who I am, before I did anything to earn and deserve it. It’s a free gift by accepting Jesus and just giving your life to Him, and what He did is the gift,” Bieber stated.
It appears that Justin Bieber will remain silent about Diddy’s arrest and scandal. However, he’s not afraid to speak about his religious beliefs. Of course, his fans continue to support him and wish him the best as he gears up to put 2024 in the past.
