Contrary to the circulating speculations about Kamala Harris‘ stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff insists she is fine. The media personality recently refuted the rumors that she had a mental breakdown following Donald Trump’s election victory. Ella addressed the situation on her Instagram Stories, sharing a mirror selfie with her dog, Jerry.
She donned baggy jeans and a white crop top with a black beanie while wearing her signature glasses. She posed with a blue ball while Jerry stared expectantly at the toy, waiting for her to throw it. Although Ella gave off goofy vibes in the snap, her message to critics was far from playful. She slammed the speculations, writing:
“There’s a rumor about me having a mental breakdown and getting checked into a hospital. Not true. Also, f— you if you’re out there spreading that.”
Ella also addressed the viral pictures of her crying following her stepmom’s concession speech on November 6. She stressed that there was nothing wrong with showing emotions and claimed her critics probably need a “good cry.” Harris’ stepdaughter claimed she has struggled with mental health her whole life and was not “ashamed” about it.
Despite the speculations, she was doing fine and playing fetch with her dog, Jerry. Ella’s biological mother, Kerstin, echoed similar sentiments on X. She bashed the speculations about her daughter’s mental health as “MAGA bs” and warned Trump supporters to stop. She wrote:
“Leave my kids alone. Ella is doing great and spending a lovely day with her mom! Having the ability to show your emotions is something we should all hope for. It’s ok to not feel great right now.”
Kerstin added that they wouldn’t let anyone break their family down. Her and Ella’s messages came days after Harris’s concession speech on November 6. The vice president addressed her loss positively, claiming, “The light of America’s promise will always burn bright.”
Nancy Pelosi Blames Joe Biden for Kamala Harris’ Loss
Days after Harris’s concession speech, We reported that Nancy Pelosi had weighed in on her election loss. The 52nd speaker of the House of Representatives blamed Joe Biden for Trump’s victory, noting his exit was late. Pelosi believed if Biden had gotten out of the presidential race sooner, Harris’s odds of victory might have increased.
She noted the VP could have had a stronger base if she joined the elections earlier. Unfortunately, it was too late for regrets. Biden, elected in 2020, attempted to run again for office until he stepped aside in July. His cognitive capacity sparked concerns, with many believing he could not run the country. However, Biden changed this narrative in his first speech following the elections.
He seemed energetic, the complete opposite of his usual sluggish vibe, as he addressed the crowd. The politician’s demeanor sparked conspiracy theories on X, with someone suspecting he wanted Harris to lose. Another critic wondered if Biden’s “whole feeble old man shtick” was an act because he wanted to leave. A third echoed similar sentiments, claiming the president had never been “so energetic and enthusiastic” during his reign.
One X user claimed he either conned the country, had his medications spiked, or found the cure for dementia. While Joe Biden wasn’t shedding tears over Donald Trump’s victory, Kamala Harris’ corner might cry during the 2025 inauguration.
