It’s always shocking to see how, despite living in this day and age, racism is still present, and everyone can be a victim of it. One of the most recent situations on Reddit features a racist Karen on an airport shuttle who harassed a family who just wanted to travel. Fortunately, this Karen only got herself on a no-fly list and gathered the hate of the entire community who stood behind this father who kept his cool while trying to protect his family.
As seen in the above Reddit video by user Jawz050987, a father explains the situation featuring the latest Karen situation on an airport shuttle. As you can see in the video, this entitled woman starts harassing the family, throwing racist slurs and insults. The father tells his tale as he shows what the woman mentioned during the altercation.
The entitled Karen starts screaming at the father things such as, “Your family is from India. You have no respect. You have no rules.” She then goes on to her purse to grab her cell phone and continues to throw even worse slurs, such as “To record your Tandoori ass.” She then goes on to say that the family is “being racist towards her,” which just shows how entitled and wrong this lady is.
When she claims the family isn’t American, the father claims he is and was actually born in the U.S.A. Then, things keep escalating, and you can see that the rest of the people are feeling uncomfortable about this situation. However, no one does a thing for now.
Fortunately, the airport’s staff arrives at the shuttle to try to defuse the racist Karen situation. Furthermore, a lot of the passengers seem to be on the family’s side, defending them from this toxic woman. You can even see a passenger standing up for the father and his kids, defending them from the Karen.
As expected, many people have shown their support for the family and commented on the altercation.
It‘s always fascinating that these kind of people don‘t realize at some point of their tirades how self-destructive their behaviors are – despite alcohol and or pills.

Others with keen eyes praised the man who stood up for the family, which is a feat on its own. Sometimes, people think being quiet is the best way to handle something, but heroes such as this man deserve recognition.

In the end, the father gives an update on the situation. It seems the police are looking to arrest the woman, and she’s even found her way on a no-fly list. In that sense, people won’t have to deal with this Karen for a while.
