While Prince Harry parades about after his failed attempt of a meeting with King Charles, Kate Middleton was spotted at Suffolk doing actual duties of a Royal. Unlike the Sussexes, Catherine, Princess of Wales, doesn’t have a target on her back of bad publicity, but she isn’t free from controversy herself. A good example would be the inconsideration towards children she showed recently during a trip to a museum. But a little backlash hasn’t taken her down yet, and with her latest visit to Suffolk, fans claim she’s sent a subtle yet clear message to wayward Prince Harry.
During her time at Sudbury Mills in Suffolk, Kate Middleton was seen wearing an ‘Earl’ jacket, along with other modest yet fancy pieces of apparel. Many know that any member of the Royal Family doesn’t just throw on a random outfit willy-nilly before leaving the house. That said, it is clear to her fans that the Princess of Wales was dressed in “mourning shades” as a sign of respect for the Duchess of Kent, who has recently passed away at the age of 92. On the other hand, Royal followers also speculate that her choice of garb is actually a message to Prince Harry by taking a jab at him after his private visit with King Charles.
Kate Middleton Secretly Calls Prince Harry ‘Earl’ Instead of Duke
“Maybe, just maybe, she is sending a message to Henry the Bald,” remarks a commenter, pointing out how, by wearing a jacket known as Earl, Kate Middleton is speaking out against Prince Harry. The speculation is that Harry’s meeting with Charles was actually a “summons by the King” to inform him that he would be removing the Sussex dukedom from Harry’s name, the complete opposite of what Harry was pleading on behalf of Meghan Markle. This, in turn, would mean that Prince Harry “has been reduced to an Earl,” concludes the commenter.
Although rather imaginative, a few do agree that Catherine would be clever to pull off such a subtle jab at Harry. “I love that they are rubbing it in the harkles face every chance they get!” remarks an online user. Of course, plenty of others believe that the Princess of Wales wouldn’t be that petty and has much more important things to worry about than trying to get back at Prince Harry. “I think that’s way too much looking into things. She’s just wearing a nice blazer, while being respectful during a mourning period,” comments one individual.
Whether Kate Middleton means to furtively throw shade at Prince Harry doesn’t really matter, as the Duke of Sussex has lost either way. Even King Charles was allegedly annoyed at whatever antics his wayward son was up to after the meeting.
