While Meghan Markle is allegedly delighted that her husband Prince Harry was able to score a meeting with King Charles, the hour-long chat might not have been as productive as the Sussexes might have hoped. With people only left to speculate what the two discussed, besides his probable demands for Meghan, some question if the meetup was “actually bad for Harry.” As one commenter puts it: “If KCIII had given something positive, it would be all over with leaks.”
Since Prince Harry has been silent, and no leaks have been shared since his tea time with King Charles, some Royal Family fans are starting to think that the monarch has “laid down the law” for his wayward son. It’s either that or Harry knows he’ll never get another chance to interact with his father “if he keeps blabbing” on what happened, remarks an online user. Some people doubt that Charles said much at all. With Harry unable to resist presenting all the demands for his wife’s redemption to ‘royal glory,’ the King might have realized “his son is still in the grips of a narcissist.” When asked directly how the King was doing, all Harry told the press was “Yes, he’s great, thank you,” as per The Guardian.
Prince Harry Might Be Biding His Time Before a Big Reveal
On the other hand, due to the timing of the recent tragic news that occurred in other countries, namely the US, perhaps Prince Harry is biding his time when the media circles back to him to be the main focus. “The current real news means no one has any time to plot with them,” chimes in a Reddit user. “He won’t leak until Meghan tells him their angle 🙄,” jokes another in response. Criticisms aside, one shrewd commenter believes that this meeting was more of a “test” for Harry than anything.
Previously, the Palace was allegedly very displeased with how quickly Prince Harry disclosed information after his meeting with King Charles back in early 2024. Now that he’s been graced with another meeting with the King, Prince Harry might think twice before making such a mistake again. Now, all he can do is play the waiting game and hopefully recover enough rapport with Charles to at least achieve one of his demands for Meghan or himself.
On the other hand, many have been reportedly upset that the King finally caved in to even see his ex-royal son. Still, regardless of the outcome, whatever time Harry is able to see Charles should be regarded as precious, seeing how the King knows the clock is ticking regarding his age and health problems.
