Kids Prize Pack changed it up in August and September by sending us a pink box instead of blue. This was a little exciting because I knew it was going to be a girly box. Don’t get me wrong, I have enjoyed the blue boxes we have received in the past, but it was cool to look through a box all about girls!
Kids Prize pack offers a new theme each month and finds the best books, toys, games, and activities based on that theme and puts a box together. So, not only are subscribers guaranteed a new book to read each month, they get some really cool stuff to make that book even more interesting. Another cool feature of the Kid’s Prize Pack is the fact you can personalize it to your child. They have four categories to cover girls and boys from ages ranging from 4-8 and 9-12.
Cost: Kids Prize Pack is $34.99/month and there are other options to get a small discount by committing to longer terms. You can find the pricing information on their website.

We are going to take a look at the boxes for August and September.
As previously mentioned, these boxes are compiled of things meant for a girl and obviously both had books inside.
These books are both from Scholastic and are written by two great authors, Louis Sachar, who wrote Holes, and Jamie Smart.
In August, there were some really cool items to go with the book by Louis Sachar. This metal lunch box brought back memories of a time when this was the “norm” of lunch boxes. Yes, I remember those times. It is a really girly, bedazzled-like box that is just the right size for your lunch.
Who would have guessed these were erasers? Just in time for school supply shopping, too!
This game was also in the August box. Maybe they thought you might need a break after school or this is small enough to bring and play during recess. Looks like fun!
I can see this hanging on a little girl’s backpack to hold their lunch money or change or anything small.
September’s box is probably one of my favorite Kids Prize Pack boxes to date. Not only did you get a book but they threw in a comic book. This makes total sense if you look at the theme for the month, Wonderful World of Comics! The Penguins from the movie Madagascar were so funny they ended up with their own movie and now they have a comic book too!
As usual, there is always a comic from Brent Hibbard.
I am sure the girls that received this box were so excited to get a Funko Pop! Figure. We got Wonder Woman. I’m not sure if all the boxes had the same figure or if they varied but either way, I’m sure it was exciting.
I told you the September box was pretty cool and this My Little Pony Princess Twilight Sparkle starter kit proves it.
If the My Little Pony toy didn’t get you excited, this must have done it. Ironically, I just saw the movie Trolls last weekend and I would not have been as knowledgeable about Poppy, the troll, before seeing it. I must say I was never a troll fan but the movie was pretty cute and had some great music that brought back memories.
That’s a look at the August and September Kids Prize Pack boxes. Both of these boxes came with some really fun and education items. I think they are really on to something with this box and would suggest this to anyone who has a kid that could use some motivation to read more.
You have approximately 13 days to get in on the next Kids Prize Pack. Don’t forget you can customize your box to the gender and age of your child. Each box will come with age-appropriate books and items.
