This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information.

Kid’s Prize Pack offers a new theme each month and finds the best books, toys, games, and activities based on that theme and puts a box together.  So, not only are subscribers guaranteed a new book to read each month, they get some really cool stuff to make that book even more interesting.  Another cool feature of the Kid’s Prize Pack is the fact you can personalize it to your child.  They have four categories to cover girls and boys from ages ranging from 4-8 and 9-12.

Cost:  Kid’s Prize Pack is $34.99/month and there are other options to get a small discount by committing to longer terms.  You can find the pricing information on their website.

Coupon/Savings:  Use the code ‘RISKFREE when ordering to get an extra 10% savings plus free shipping.

Theme: Capes and Charms

Let’s dive in and see what is inside!

Kid's Prize Pack

What kid doesn’t love a cool Funko Pop! Figure?  This is Vision, a character from Avengers: Age of Ultron.  As you can see he is wearing a cape which goes with the capes and charms theme, right?

Superman Grab & Go is fun for that person who loves to color and be “artsy.”  It comes with crayons, stickers and coloring pages.

Superman (representing the capes) and a Mtropolis Police Dept matchbox car was included in this package.

Personally, I’ve never really been into action figures but did anyone really expect that to happen?  Having said that, I’m sure there is some kid out there that would love to have this Marvel Hawkeye and Black Panther Miniverse figure set.

Kid’s Prize Pack usually includes  this cartoon/comic, most likely to encourage reading.  If that didn’t do the trick, maybe this Batman book?!?

This book, Batman: Gotham City’s Guardian, is definitely a good fit for the Capes vs Charms theme! I still think it’s great to get a new book each month based on your reading ability.

This month’s theme magnet.

They provided a Summer Reading Book List from Scholastic.  This is a great reference if you’re not sure what books your child should be reading.

As you can see, its another great box from Kid’s Prize Pack.  I am excited to see what comes in the July box!  It’s theme is “Crazy for Cartoons.”

I am the wife of a real nerd who has developed some nerd-like tendencies along the way. I am a mom of two teenagers who is still trying to figure out what she wants to be when she grows up! I spend my days working at the local community & technical college as a Director of Business & Industry training. At night and on weekends, I love spending time with family, binge-watching tv series, playing video games with the kids, graphic design, and, yes, reviewing products. I have my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Communication and contemplating a Doctorate…I consider myself a lifetime learner!
