The story mode for Kill La Kill: The Game IF has been released with a new trailer. The game is an adaptation from the manga and the anime. The story mode trailer is the newest addition to what has been released already about the game. The new trailer showcases the story of Satsuki Kiryuin, leader of the Honnouji Academy, calling for an all-out brawl for all of her students. The last one student from the battle royale gains a new Goku uniform with the ability to enhance the user’s skills. After the dialogue is finished, the video shows a tutorial battle between Satsuki and Ryoku. The tutorial showcases how to fight and what to expect from the battles of the game. Kill La Kill: The Game IF brings the same story but with a chance to shake things up. The story mode allows players a what-if scenario for players to experience different situations other than in the main story. You will experience the story through Satsuki as the playable character instead of seeing things through Ryoku like from the series.
Writer Kazuki Nakashima is supervising the fighting scenes of the story mode.
“Use your favorite character, and pulverize all who stand in your way! Simple controls and extravagant actions!”
The same characters from the series will be playable through the story mode. The makers of the Dragonball FighterZ game are behind Kill La Kill: The Game IF. Dragonball Fighterz gained much praise as being one of the better adaptations of an anime to the video game industry in 2018.
The game is set to come out July 26, 2019, in North America and Europe. The game will allow players the chance to experience the series through the eyes of Satsuki. The story mode will allow for a change to the story to switch up what original was done with it in the anime and manga. Will this adaptation of a manga series be just as good of a fighting game just like Dragonball Fighterz? Let us know in the comments below.
