Kourtney Kardashian headed into December in the Christmas spirit. The reality star celebrated the new month by sharing several photos of her holiday decor in her lavish mansion. Kardashian wowed fans with her extravagant decorations, which included several Christmas trees, plenty of lights, candles, and other holiday decor. She also shared snaps of her children’s Elf On The Shelf, some sexy shots of her in skimpy clothing, and even a photo of Santa. However, not all of her followers were happy with the post.
After sharing several photos of her holiday decor throughout the years on Instagram, Kourtney Kardashian left her fans divided. The grand decorations were deemed over the top by some. Meanwhile, others didn’t enjoy photos of blood-red trees or rooms filled with several trees that a few deemed to be wasteful. One even claimed there were demonic elements to the decor.
“This is revolting overconsumption. I truly hope she donates even a fraction of what she spends on those trees to the less fortunate. Sad,” one person wrote via Reddit.
“This whole family is incredibly wasteful in every sense of the word,” said another.
“That upside down tree. I was told it denotes a demonic element,” a third comment read.
“Christmas but make it void of any actual warmth,” a fourth person wrote.
Kourtney Kardashian Christmas Decor Bashed Online
Of course, other fans defended Kourtney’s decision to share her extravagant holiday decorations. Some revealed that everyone was allowed to decorate in a way that made them happy. Others suggested that she was likely looking to make the holidays special for her kids.
It appears that Kardashian is hoping to make the holiday season magical for her four children. While her three oldest children, Mason, Penelope, and Reign Disick are likely accustomed to seeing their mother’s fabulous decor, her youngest, 1-year-old Rocky Thirteen Barker, will be getting his first real glimpse of Christmas with the Kardashians.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that a member of the Kardashian family has received backlash over their holiday habits. The family is often called out online for their lavish and over-the-top celebrations, which also include birthday parties and vacations.
For her part, Kourtney Kardashian has taken much of the heat this year. Back in October, the oldest Kar-Jenner sibling was blasted by online haters who thought her Halloween display to be inappropriate.
This fall, Kardashian and her husband, Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, shared some of their spooky Halloween adornments. The decor included a lot of dark colors and two large, inflatable skeletons that appeared in their front yard and were placed in a compromising position. This was not a shock to many fans, who know that Kourtney and Travis have become known for their excessive PDA.
Despite the criticism of her decor, Kourtney Kardashian continues to share photos of her home during the holidays. She appears to be excited about the upcoming Christmas holiday with her family and is holding nothing back when it comes to making her house look festive.
