Fans of Vanderpump Rules may be saddened to hear that Lala Kent and Ariana Madix are still on the outs. In fact, during a recent interview, Lala confirmed that she doesn’t have a relationship with the Love Island star. And to make matters worse… she said they likely won’t have one ever again. So, what’s going on between the former besties? According to Lala, the explosive Season 11 reunion changed the course of their friendship, leading them down a road of no return.
Lala Kent Can’t See Herself Rekindling Her Friendship With Ariana Madix
On an episode of Jeff Lewis’ podcast, Lala discussed Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules and her relationship with Ariana. When asked about her friendship with the reality star turned A-List celebrity, Lala gave a straightforward answer.
“We don’t have one,” she said.
Jeff and his co-host asked follow-up questions. More specifically, the pair wanted to know if there was a chance for Lala and Ariana ever to rekindle their once-strong bond. According to the Give Them Lala host, that “will never happen.”
Later in the interview, Kent praised Ariana for her success on Broadway and hosting the newest season of Love Island. She told Jeff that she’d “always be a cheerleader” for Madix and explained that she holds “no ill feelings about anybody on the show.”
“I just feel peace.”
Lala Hurt Ariana’s Feelings During the VPR Season 11 Reunion
During the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 reunion, Ariana finally heard some of the comments her co-stars made behind her back while filming. Lala had the most to say, and after seeing the clips for the first time, Ariana tearfully admitted Lala’s comments “hurt her feelings.”
But that’s not all. In an interview with Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp, Lala hinted that Ariana had turned into a diva, making it difficult for the cast to film the series. “I have a hard time when people think that they are bigger than the show,” she said in June 2024.
Because of that, it makes sense why Ariana would want to keep her distance. In September 2024, she told E! News that she hadn’t heard from Lala since filming wrapped.
“I haven’t been in touch with Lala at all,” she shared.
Although surprising at the time, now that both stars have shared their truth, it’s all starting to make sense.
Bravo still hasn’t made an official announcement or decision regarding Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules. However, given the state of the cast’s current relationships, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if the show was shelved indefinitely. If it is time to say goodbye, at least fans have 12 iconic seasons to store in the archives forever.
