In case you did not know, Halo 5: Guardians is free until tomorrow January 14 at 10:59 PM PST. This game is only free to download for Xbox Live Gold members. Every mode is available to play online for the Xbox Live Gold members. This includes the slayer mode, capture the flag, infection, warzone, and super fiesta.
Sadly, Halo 5: Guardians will not remain permanently in your library, and if players want it permanently, they will have to pay for it. However, the game will be on sale for 20% off shortly after Sunday. The game has been free since Thursday, January 11 at 12:01 AM PST and was announced on Xbox’s website.
Mike Nelson, Xbox Wire Editor said:
Halo 5: Guardians has evolved into the biggest, best, and most immersive Halo game to date. Should you decide to join the fight after the program, all your saved progress and earned achievements will be waiting for you when you purchase the game.
Nelson also spoke about the experience of the latest chapter in the Halo saga which is a “journey that will change the course of history and the future of mankind.” He later informs players that they can play the campaign solo or up to three friends via online during the weekend.
The first-person shooter game, developed by 343 Industries and published by Microsoft Studios, is extremely popular and grossed over $400 million in its first twenty-four hours and $500 million in its first week, outselling Halo 4. So, it is a good chance to see how the game performs on the new Xbox One X as the platform is more powerful. Players can download Halo 5: Guardians by searching for the game on the Xbox Dashboard.
