Leah Remini and Angelo Pagan are the latest celebrity couple to call it quits. On Aug. 29, the actress announced via Instagram she and her husband of 21 years decided to divorce. The King of Queens star wrote “the decision came after a lot of thought and care.” While it was hard on the couple, Remini explained they “know it’s what’s best for us.”
The couple who married in July 2003 are parents to 20 year-old daughter Sofia. While the exes are trying to remain amicable, things could turn ugly with a fight over finances.
According to In Touch Weekly, Pagan asked the court to deny his ex-wife’s request for spousal support. His request came one day after the actress filed for divorce on August 29th. In his paperwork, he also revealed that they had been separated since August 1st.

Whenever a celebrity couple divorces, there’s always speculation on how they’ll divide their assets. With millions of dollars, houses, cars, and others items up for grabs; divorce battles can get ugly.
For Remini and Pagan, a lot is at stake with their finances. According to Daily Mail, the couple is reportedly worth $25 million. Most of Remini’s money comes from her acting career. As for Pagan, he’s an actor, singer, and restaurateur. He and Leah’s stepfather own the Vivian’s Millennium Cafe in Studio City, California.
As for property to split up, it’s unknown of their assets. But in July 2024, one month before the divorce filing, Remini sold her Studio City home for $9.3 million. The People Puzzler host brought the house for $3.75 million in 2003, the same year she and Pagan tied the knot.
Like any celebrity divorce, it’s sad to see a couple split up. But Leah Remini and Angelo Pagan realized it’s best if they go they’re separate ways. Hopefully, everything will go smoothly for the former couple as they finalize their divorce and focus on the future.
