This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Heavy Wool is an epic item that you need to create Heavy Wool Thread and it is quite difficult to obtain. There are many rumors that this resource can be obtained by petting or killing Sheep and Rams, but this is a misconception, and you will need to use a completely different method. To help you out, here’s how to get Heavy Wool in Lego Fortnite. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

Where You Can Find Heavy Wool in Lego Fortnite

The only real way to get this resource is to explore the caves in Frostlands and loot chests. Be well-prepared before you go, bringing at least Spicy Peppers to resist the cold. Next, head to the snowy biome, which is covered in in ice and snow.

When you get there, open the map and head to one of the caves. The main landmark on the map will be an icon with two mountains and a door. Once you enter the cave, start exploring it to find treasure chests. Once you find one, approach it and interact with it to see what’s inside. There’s a good chance that one of the items inside will be Heavy Wool. If not, continue your search for new caves and chests.

As mentioned above, going to Frostlands is a risky decision because it is literally the most dangerous biome in the game. To survive here, you must be well prepared and bring some items. Here are the recommended stuff to take to survive in Frostlands:

  • Spicy Peppers – Primary and essential to have resistance to the cold.
  • Long Sword – There are a lot of dangerous enemies here, so you will need to fight them off or run away.
  • Torch – To illuminate the area in the cave and make it easier to find chests.
  • Food – To restore hunger, or health if you are damaged.
  • Charms – If you have crafted or found some, it is advisable to equip them to have more health and armor.

If you wish, you can add to this list some more items that suit your playing style or that you consider necessary.

Is There Any Other Method To Find Heavy Wool?

It’s also worth mentioning the rumors about Heavy Wool. Some players say that this resource can be obtained by petting or killing the Sheep and Rams that are located in Frostlands. Unfortunately, this is not true, although it would be quite logical. Many other players, including us, have tested this theory, and we can say exactly that this strategy does not work at the moment. So, all you have to do is rely on your luck and go searching for it in caves.

Lego Fortnite is available now on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
