The Real Housewives of Dubai has only aired one episode, and it’s already the talk of reality TV. The star of the show, Lesa Milan Hall, went on Good Day DC to dish about some of the spicy details of the show. Hall, who is a mother of three and a former Ms. Jamaica, didn’t hold back. She knew how to whet the world’s appetite for the newest, most controversial addition to The Real Housewives lineup yet. But is the controversy warranted?
You may remember Lesa Milan Hall from College Hill, a reality show from 2008 she starred on. She is quick to point out she is not the same college student she was back then. Hall has grown up is ready to show a new side of her on TRHOD. The star also uses the opportunity to mention her maternity brand she runs. Hall is nothing if not ambitious. This show will highlight that for certain.
Realest of The Real
As many may recall, The Real Housewives of Dubai caught heat when announced. The reason being Dubai has some archaic views on gender identity and sexual orientation. Hall buffs those claims by saying the feedback from the first episode has been wholly positive. When asked what makes this new entry stand out, Hall is quick to say it retains the energy of other seasons of the iconic show while also stretching out in its own direction.
But she was also mum, mainly keeping the intrigue up without saying too much. Creating a buzz organically. And in a show with as celebrated a history as The Real Housewives, we are confident this season will bring their highest numbers yet.
Lesa Milan Hall seems confident to be at the front of this ship, which has us curious to where it may go next. The show airs on Bravo at 9 p.m. Wednesday nights.
