Lisa Vanderpump is getting sued. Now, if you know her at all, you are thinking there are myriad reasons this could be happening. In this case, she is getting sued by the PUMP landlords. For those who may not know, PUMP is her L.A.-based eatery she ran with her husband that recently closed down. Most people were given very little reason as to why, but now we have the reason. In the words of the landlords: “…they failed and refused and continued to fail and refuse to keep and perform their lease conditions.” This is news that she and hubby Ken Todd were probably hoping never made it to the public.
Moreover, this is by no means her first interaction with lawyers. Vanderpump is one of those people who seems to thrive on chaos. When she can’t find it, she creates it. In this case, the landlords are also saying there was extensive damage to the establishment. It is not looking good for the reality TV star.
Lisa Vanderpump Is Getting Sued for PUMP Problems
Another big factor in the lawsuit is the fact that Ken stopped paying rent for PUMP. On top of that, he has yet to return the liquor license he received. Keep in mind, this is a license that is worth $150 grand. All of these accusations do not paint a good picture of Lisa and Ken. They’ve also not commented on any of this, which paints an even worse picture. It just sounds like rich people acting entitled; something Lisa is well known for.
Now keep in mind, this is not their first failed restaurant lawsuit. She was also sued by SUR employees who claim she never paid them for their work. SUR is another eatery she owns with her husband. At the end of the day, Lisa Vanderpump is getting sued by PUMP landlords and the only person who may be surprised by this is her.
