Loot Crate has 8 different crate subscriptions to choose from depending on your interests and likes. One of these is the Loot Anime Crate and for May 2016 the theme was “Unity.” The theme is to celebrate the partnership of Loot Anime and Crunchyroll. This box had some really cool items in it. On a personal level, I am not completely familiar with the world of anime, however, hanging around my son and husband has taught me a little more than I knew before. Having said that, let’s take a look at the Loot Anime crate and see what’s inside!
Yo-Kai Watch T-shirt. As you can see, there is a star on the front, but what I thought was pretty cool was the sleeve (pictured to the right). I would be lying if I said I knew what the graphics on this represented. But I must say, I like the t-shirt!
A FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood Transmutation Circle Doormat for those who decorate in Anime….
So, I don’t know a whole lot about The Boy and the Beast, but I must say Chiko is pretty darn cute! What exactly is Chiko (at least that is what I was asking)? So I researched and found on tropes.org this description: “an unidentified fuzzy rodent-like thing Ren picks up at the beginning of the movie.” Then I found this trailer:

After watching this, I came to two conclusions. First, I think I might actually enjoy this movie and secondly, Chiko sure is cute! Loot Anime might convert me to an Anime fan before you know it!
This DragonBall Z Pop! Vinyl Figure is a LootCrate exclusive of Super Saiyan Goku. Again, bear with me, I’m learning! According to Dragonball.wikia.com, “Super Saiyan Goku is the fourth level of the Special Saga in the video game Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3. It is based on the movie Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug.”
This item is a Loot Exclusive set of “Unity” phone charms. These phone charms fit together. To promote unity, keep one and give the other to a friend or family member.
As previously stated, this month was about uniting with Crunchyroll to make a partnership with Loot Anime. So, they included this poster introducing their mascots. On the left is Hime, Crunchyroll’s mascot, who is 5’10”, loves old fashioned donuts, using twitter and loves foxes. On the right is the Loot Anime mascot (who will be named in a contest) who is 5’8″, loves hot dogs with sriracha, sings karaoke and loves cats.
So, there you have it! Our first look at a Loot Anime crate.
