One of the most exciting announcements is John Howe as an illustrator and concept artist. Howe worked on the Lord of the Rings trilogy beside Peter Jackson, making the world of Middle-Earth a reality.
This is one of the biggest announcements to happen so far on this new Lord of the Rings series. It is known each episode has a multi-million budget and that it will take place during the Second Age. Which is after the destruction of Beleriand and contains the founding of Lindon and Númenor. Sauron is a key figure during this time as well as Celebrimbor. This may fulfill fans dreams of seeing the events of the Simarillion played out.
