It seems the family is wheeling and dealing over Pumpkin’s spouse’s use as a sperm donor. Mama June: Family Crisis is set to return with a new season on Friday, June 14. It promises to be every bit as dramatic and wild as Mama June fans have come to expect from the Shannon family. However, a recent interview with ET revealed that the Shannon sisters have a bizarre situation on their hands.
During the interview, Jessica ‘Chubbs’ Shannon reveals that she is very interested in using her sister Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Shannon’s husband and baby daddy of her four children as a sperm donor.
But here is the thing, Lauryn is considering the idea of pimping out her husband, Josh, to serve her sister’s desire to start a family of her own. However, at this time, Pumpkin has yet to give the green light to Jessica.
Should Lauryn and Josh decide to help a sister out, Jessica Shannon wouldn’t be the one to carry the baby. It would be Jessica’s partner, Shyann McCant. However, Pumpkin is hesitant to agree.
Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird Has A Lot To Consider Before Jessica Shannon Gets Her Answer
“I mean, it’s a big conversation, 100 percent, because, like, it is my sister, but when you really get into the big bulk of it, there’s so many strings attached to it,” Lauryn, 24, said in a chat alongside Shannon, sister Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and mom “Mama June” Shannon.
Pumpkin admits that all four of her children with Josh Efird are the spitting image of their dad. So she feels Josh’s fathering another child could set off a lot of weird feelings for all involved.
So far, Josh Efird has not shared his thoughts or feelings on the matter. Mama June: Family Crisis fans know that Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird calls all the shots in the couple’s marriage.
During the interview, Jessica Shannon wanted to tell Mama June: Family Crisis viewers, “Definitely, right now, Shyann is not pregnant.” Jessica ‘Chubbs’ Shannon adds, “Y’all are just gonna have to wait and see how that plays out,” she teased.
Even Mama June Shannon admits she was blindsided by the idea, which threw her for a loop. So buckle up; fans are in for quite the season with the WEtv reality family. Who knows, if pimping out Josh falls through, they could always throw June’s younger husband, Justin Stroud, into the mix.
