Whoever bought The Last of Us Part I digitally might be a little luckier than the others. The game has digital and physical copy options, and digital copies are the fastest way to play. But if you’re a collector or more interested in the items in the box, you might be one of the gamers who bought the physical copies from Sony. Unfortunately, some of the customers only got opened or damaged packages. There is no damage on the special items or discs, but it’s sad to see The Last of Us Part I Fireflies Edition in that bad condition.
The complaints number is increasing, and there are many customers that are mad at Sony. The Fireflies Edition boxes contain the game and special gifts. That’s why many gamers buy the game’s physical instead of the digital version. The reason for the problem isn’t apparent. But the support team has a solution; they offer a 20 percent discount for any game on PlayStation Store. This might not be enough for the buyers, but there is no replacement program. Sony only has a refund program, which only extends the time to get an undamaged Fireflies Edition package.
