One of the most iconic sagas in the world of comics is coming to MCoC, and it is bringing some iconic characters, and a few other surprises. While the Winter season was packed with reveals, reworks, and other goodies for all players, March is bound to be an even bigger month with everything coming to the game. So, prepare to jump into The Battlerealm once more, because there are many champions to grab and take out for a fight.
Marvel Contest of Champions: Dark Phoenix Saga Brings Two Champions to The Battlerealm
The iconic Jean Grey and Sentinel born human Bastion are coming to Marvel Contest of Champions as part of the Dark Phoenix Saga. You can get the chance to obtain Jean Grey on March 13 and Bastion on March 27. But that’s not all. As part of the saga, you can take the fight alongside Jean Grey and other X-Men to face some all-new variants. By doing so, you’ll obtain unique rewards, and experience an intriguing storyline, of course.
Eidols Are Coming in 2025
Original characters aren’t something new in Marvel Contest of Champions, as we saw last year with Isophyne, so it is great to see MCoC is working on more brand-new champions to add to our roster.
Throughout 2025, Marvel Contest of Champions will bring a new series of characters called Eidols. These characters operate on a whole new level that differs from other champions we’ve seen in the game, mainly regarding their sourcing system. The first champion of this series is Lumatrix, and will tie to the “Founders” storyline we saw with the introduction of Isophyne. So, if you’ve been eager to discover more about these characters and the story, 2025 will have a lot in store for you. The chase for Lumatrix will take place from March 5 to June 4.
As you can see, 2025 is looking like yet another promising year for MCoC. So, grab your roster and prepare to dive into The Battlerealm once more, because it will only get better with each new update.
