Marvel boss Kevin Feige sat down with IGN today and said that he will not be revealing the complete future lineup for Marvel’s movies quite yet. Although Black Panther 2, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Black Widow, and Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 have been greenlit, the remaining movie slate for the remaining MCU heroes are still unknown. Most of these characters were shown to have been dusted in Infinity War so it makes sense why Marvel wants to keep things under wraps for now.
Along with his reluctance to reveal any details surrounding the future of the MCU, Kevin Feige was also hesitant to say whether or not Marvel would be at San Diego Comic-Con this year. Feige believes that announcing this could be a spoiler for Avengers: Endgame itself:
“I don’t wanna be annoying, but I think it … In a certain way, that is also sort of a post-Endgame spoiler”
Feige went on to state that more announcements would come “soon after” Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters:
“I will say all of the post Comic-Con, post Spider-Man: Far From Home stuff, we … Here’s an exclusive. We’re gonna keep making movies. We’re gonna still keep making movies after these two. And we will talk about them soon after Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out.”
From what it sounds like, it seems that Marvel has planned out the next couple years of MCU films. This is all speculation for now as we won’t officially know more until Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home have released in theaters.
