Warning: Spoilers for Marvel’s Civil War II #3 below
Civil War II #3 is now in stores, meaning Marvel can announce details about two of their upcoming tie-in books Civil War II: The Accused #1 and Civil War II: The Fallen #1.
Both spinoffs will be one issue stories that tie directly into the events of Civil War II #3, specifically the death of Hulk.
Initially reported by ComicBook.com, Civil War II: The Accused #1 will center around the trial of Hawkeye. Although we caught a glimpse of the trial in Civil War II #3, The Accused will delve deeper into the characters involved with the trial, including exploring the reactions from the superhero community. The issue will prominently feature Matt Murdock as he digs into Clint Barton’s actions and motivations, finding surprising revelations that date back to the Superhero Registration Act, what initially sparked the first Marvel Civil War.
Civil War II: The Accused #1 is written by Marc Guggenheim and drawn by Garry Brown and Ramon Bachs, it will be available for purchase August 10.
Meanwhile, Civil War II: The Fallen #1 will center around the funeral of Bruce Banner. It will put the public’s view of the Hulk into light as the funeral is attended by some, but not all who you might think.
Civil War II: The Fallen #1 will be written by Greg Pak and drawn by Mark Bagley, it will be released August 17.
