Mary Cosby loves her Real Housewives of Salt Lake City co-stars. Well, most of them, at least. During a chat with Page Six, Mary recently slammed her ex-best friend, Meredith Marks, after falling out with the reality star during Season 5 of the hit Bravo show.
In case you forgot, Mary first appeared on RHOSLC during Season 1. She fought incessantly with Jen Shah; however, she found a safe space in Meredith. As both of the ladies were on the outs during Season 2 of the series, their connection strengthened. Eventually, Mary departed the show after suffering attacks from the disgraced former Housewife, Jennie Nguyen. Cosby, who’s also a preacher, returned to the show for Season 4, thanks to Meredith, who brought her back as a “friend-of.” Mary feuded with a few ladies, including Angie K and Whitney Rose, but the audience loved her, which led to her snatching her snowflake back for Season 5.
But things aren’t going so well in Park City, Utah. As watchers saw during the latest episode of the series, things reached a boiling point between Mary and Meredith. After Marks engaged in a screaming match with Angie, Mary asked her to stop before directing her to “get out of my house.” Visibly upset, Meredith left, which seemingly caused a rift between them. So, how does Mary feel about her relationship with Marks today?
Is Mary Cosby Over Meredith Marks?
When asked about her relationship with Meredith, Mary Cosby didn’t hold back.
“I feel like we’ve been on a slippery slope since I’ve bonded with Angie [Katsanevas],” she said.
Despite their issues last season, Mary and Angie formed a tight bond while filming Season 5. Their relationship was a shock to most people, including Meredith, who argued with Angie the year before. Most watchers seem to think that’s where their beef originated, and according to Mary, she feels the same. “Meredith is the type of person who likes to be in an alliance with someone,” she explained. “And if you befriend that person that she doesn’t like, she kind of pulls away from you. And that’s what happened.”
Real Housewives fans took to social media after the November 20th episode to share their feelings about what they saw.
“AND THERE IT IS!! Meredith is jealous of Angie and Mary’s relationship,” one user wrote.
“I honestly feel like Meredith feels that Mary owes her for bringing her back on the show,” another user posted. “Meredith is pressed she became so close with Angie K rather than being loyal to her.”
There’s still more to be seen regarding Mary and Meredith’s relationship. However, based on clips from the trailer, it doesn’t seem like things get better.
Before wrapping up her chat with Page Six, Mary addressed the spoiler that someone could’ve been secretly recording Meredith during their end-of-season cast trip. “Nobody’s recording Meredith,” she said. “I’m just saying, nobody’s recording Meredith. Like, for what?”
“Who would need to do that? We’re on a show already.”
But she didn’t stop there. When Mary finished, she threw a little shade her co-star’s way.
“[They would hear her] probably sipping wine. And some tears,” she said. “Wine and tears and wine and tears and wine and … just being a victim.”
