The polo series, filmed at the Us Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida would dive deeper into the world of polo, focusing on the players, their fears, their motivation to compete and their desire to attain the highest level. The series aims to give viewers unprecedented access to the world of polo,” ultimately rekindling the “grit and passion for the sport.”
Harry, an avid polo fan who grew up playing the sport, would spearhead this series and serve as executive producer. Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle would executive-produce the other Netflix series alongside Chanel Pysnik under Archewell Productions. Leah Hariton (Selena + Chef) and Michael Steed (My Next Guest Needs No Introduction) would act as showrunners and directors, respectively. Sony Pictures Television’s The Intellectual Property Corporation would produce the show.
The unnamed show would see the Duchess of Sussex “celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining and friendship.” The Netflix series easily passes for an extension of Meghan Markle’s former lifestyle blog, The Tig, which she quit following her marriage to Prince Harry.
