The actress released a statement on a crucial work engagement at a Thanksgiving event last week. Meghan hosted an intimate dinner for the Southern California Welcome Project through the Sussexes’ Archewell Foundation. She reportedly attended the event without the pleasant company of the charming prince.
In her message, the star reminisced on listening to the stories of the resilience of women who resettled in the US from Afghanistan. Per the foundation website, she reestablished her commitment to uplift women and provide support during challenging times. Despite Meghan’s productive evening, internet users couldn’t see past their perceived dwindling working relationship. One particular user did not bother beating around the bush when they wrote:

Another commenter spotted a moral lesson about “never giving your life away for a woman” in the story. Meanwhile, this person saw it as a “gotcha moment” for Harry, tagging him as “a weak man,” perhaps foreshadowing a divorce. Seemingly agreeing with the above speculation, another user picked a bone with the “professional separation” tag. This user confidently predicted a divorce within the next “12 months,” claiming Meghan was far from “royalty.” Another commenter could not believe the prince left his whole family behind to get “dumped” by the actress possibly.
The couple has undoubtedly played a considerable role in developing rumors about their marital troubles. The actress was spotted dancing with friends at the launch party of hair colorist Kadi Lee’s new haircare line. She also posed for photos with other partygoers without a whiff of her husband in sight. Hair Stylist Serge Normant, who styled Markle’s hair for her 2018 royal wedding to Harry, also attended the event.

Amid their now rare public sightings, the couple’s famous PDAs have also significantly declined. Body language expert Judi James has analyzed the couple‘s recent relationship changes. James noted it has indeed “evolved from a totally twinned one” to one resembling the letter “Y.” She declared that joining the base and splitting into two halves union like the letter “Y” indicates “separate professional directions.”
James’ analysis hinged on the couple’s displays, or the lack thereof, in their now-rare joint appearances. She explained how Harry and Meghan’s relationship has always been a love story with heavy romantic undertones. Hence, watching the duo carry on without their “previously constant love touch” gives the impression of something missing.

The marriage is still on course despite the absence of hand-holding and waist-grabbing. James drew his analysis from a video of the couple speaking on the safety of children. The expert noted that they each seemed “happy” and “relaxed” in their respective pursuits.
She observed Meghan’s glances at her husband and Harry’s attempt at physical touch at the mention of “together.” James concluded that any separation for now would deal a huge blow to their brand and kid-friendly campaigns.
For now, the rumors are simply rumors, as neither Prince Harry nor Meghan Markle have confirmed the reports.
