Prince Harry appears to be desperate to save his wife’s hide as all her ventures are failing. His most recent endeavor on her behalf was to gain the Royal Family’s favor for her. He’s reportedly written letters to both King Charles and Prince William to hopefully get on their good side so that Meghan Markle can get back her HRH title. Yet, the future seems rather bleak for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, so what else is there for her to do? Fans predict that her next venture on the list is fashion.

On a subreddit that closely follows news of the two ex-royals, one user asks the question: “Is this the end of MM? What is she gonna do now?” E! News reports that her podcast is on an indefinite hiatus, and With Love, Meghan on Netflix likely has more hate-watchers than people who genuinely enjoy the show. With its terrible ratings and low viewership, WLM probably won’t have a Season 3. And her As Ever brand’s products have hit a wall in terms of promotion or buyers. All this being said, nothing seems to be going for her at the moment, nothing positive, at least. So “What will she do for attention and money now?” the Royal fan asks. “Fashion?“
Such an idea wouldn’t be too far-fetched for Meghan, seeing how her As Ever is a lifestyle brand of sorts. Another user chimes in in response to Harry’s wife considering fashion as her next business endeavor: “She’s gonna launch some baggy overpriced clothing items, and given how small her As Ever brand is, I imagine it’s only gonna be 3 to 5 items.” Still, unless she can miraculously find an investor for such a venture or a celebrity friend to promote a clothes line, the commenter predicts nothing will sell. After all, up until this point, “She’s proven to be unprofitable and extremely difficult to work with.”
Plenty more commenters threw in their ideas of what Meghan Markle would market, from excessively beige-colored clothing to 2005 skinny jeans with pockets filled with flower spinkles. Some added she might just end up rebranding again to keep her business afloat. Whatever the case, the ball seems to be in Prince Harry’s court at the moment, as he’s trying to frantically get his ducks in a row while he’s in the UK. He might already be on to something with his “donation” to BBC and its Children in Need, but his schemes will probably be unveiled when the time comes. For now, people are just having a good laugh comparing Meghan’s bread spread to David Beckham’s “actual” homemade jam.
