With divorce rumors already on the rise, it’s no wonder Prince Harry is doing “tremendously well” without Meghan Markle’s presence in his solo endeavors. Speaking with GB News, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams notes that the Duke of Sussex “hasn’t given any interviews” lately, and his recent activities have been “uncontroversial.” As many might recall, the Sussexes had an interview with CBS Sunday Morning that received overwhelmingly negative publicity, with just a YouTube clip of the talk having 94% dislikes.
Royal author Victoria Murphy expressed that it’s no secret that Prince Harry’s “most successful projects, the ones that resonate the most with people, are the ones that were set up when he was a working royal.” In other words, it was the time when Markle was not in control of their marriage and had less impact on their reputation.
Now, without the Megxit mastermind at his side, Fitzwilliams claims things are going back to the way it used to be for Prince Harry — in a good sense: “It was rather like old times to see the way he acted, so to speak, so naturally with the children and the families and so forth. All these events have gone off tremendously well and uncontroversial.”
Fitzwilliams continues, mentioning how the Sussexes’ Netflix series doesn’t seem to be Harry’s primary focus at the moment, as he has less screentime than usual:
“His next docuseries for Netflix on Polo apparently doesn’t feature him much, so what we’re waiting to see is how this will be developing in the weeks and months.”

The royal expert rhetorically asks if “this part of a new strategy,” with Prince Harry doing things on his own as Meghan Markle commits to her own professional endeavors. Regardless of whether the divorce rumors are true, having Harry do events and activities on his own without Meghan breathing down his neck has a noticeable positive impact on the prince.
