Meghan Trainor Apologizes
Recently, Meghan took to her TikTok account with a video addressing her words about teachers on her podcast. In the clip, Meghan said she was sorry about the derogatory remarks. According to the music artist, her anger over the spate of school shootings caused her to say misguided words. The star emphasized that Meghan Trainor’s comment on teachers wasn’t how she felt. She explained she was caught up in the moment as her brother Ryan and guest Trisha Paytas conveyed their negative experiences with educators.
Once again, the television personality insisted that she didn’t mean to direct the flippant remarks at all teachers. She then confessed she loved teachers, adding that she believed their jobs were the hardest and they were the most underpaid.
Meghan concluded the video with the words: “They are the most unappreciated when they literally raise all of us. I don’t want to make excuses, I just want to say I’m sorry.” Meghan promised to be more careful with her words, as they could have consequences.
